One of our more interesting teapots as the right eye of the Owl is a hole that becomes part of the handle.
The larger photo shows the texture and the multicolored clays used in making this piece.
Teapot holds @12 ounces and is 4 /12 inches high by 5 1/2 inches long
We have found with use that our teapot does not do well with loose tea.The construction of the spout is such that large leaves will clog it. We now use tea bags and there is no problem with the pouring and we use a single type of tea with the pot as we would with any Yixing Teapot.
